An accident happens and Ceska's life is saved by sheer luck. A brash yet kind man appears as her saviour, showing an outlandish quality of his: a pair of sentient mechanical legs. Their interaction is interrupted by a third actor in the accident, allowing this mystery man to show his violent sense of justice, as a premise for the story that will unfold for Ceska.
