(Setting, a spring day, an 8-year-old Raiton is sitting outside of his small house in Crimson village, Crimson Village is not a large village and the houses are in comparison to large huts. Crimson Village is not a poor village and is actually well known for the strength of the Senshi that live in it, including the leader of Crimson Village, Raiton’s father Lord Crimson. It is about 3 in the afternoon)

Raiton’s Mom: Raiton?

Raiton: Yeah mom?

Raiton’s Mom: Why don’t you go find Kaede and play, another meeting will start soon and I don’t think you need to sit in for it, it may be a really boring one for grownups again.

Raiton: Are you sure? I thought I always had to be at the meetings

Raiton’s mom ruffles his hair and smiles

Raiton’s Mom: I’m positive go run along now and find Kaede before I change my mind

Raiton: Yes, ma’am! Raiton gets up and runs to Kaede’s house which is down a path and around a corner

Kaede is sitting outside with her mom

Raiton: Excuse me, can Kaede play?

Kaede’s Mom: Why I don’t see why not Raiton, your mom said you didn’t have to be in the meeting today then I don’t see why Kaede should be in there also.

Kaede: Yay thank you, mom!

Kaede gets up and her and Raiton run back down the path Raiton came down

Kaede’s Mom: You two be careful!

Raiton and Kaede: We will!

The two run to a forest known as Seishin Forest known for its unique Beasts that have gained the capability to harness arts

The two sit on opposite logs from each other by a lake

Kaede: What do you think the meeting was about Raiton?

Raiton: I dunno actually, my mom said it was for grownups and I didn’t need to be worried about it.

Kaede: As the Leader’s son you didn’t even ask your dad?

Raiton: Nope Raiton had a big smile on his face

Kaede: You need to pay more attention to what goes on in the village Raiton if you’re going to be leader one day.

Raiton: Yeah I guess… But we have permission to play today we’ll go to the next one!

Kaede: Uhh fine… Kaede rolls her eyes a little then pushes Raiton and runs

Kaede: Your it!

Raiton stumbles back and then runs after Kaede laughing

Raiton: Hey no fair I wasn’t ready!

Kaede: You gotta catch me!

Raiton and Kaede are shown playing, running and laughing until they reach a lake where they sit and catch their breaths and a woman is heard screaming faintly in the distance

Raiton: Wait, what was that sound?
Kaede: I dunno I’m scared let’s go home
Raiton nods and leads Kaede by her hand swiftly back to the village
Raiton: We are almost there…
Kaede: I want my mommy Raiton
Raiton stops running turns and hugs Kaede
Raiton: Don’t worry we are almost there but I need you to stay with me alright?
Kaede nods wiping her tears
Kaede: mmhmm
The two nervously keep walking and see the ruins of their Village, Raiton’s Mother, Father and Kaede’s Parents are lying in the center of the town, all are dead except for both of their mothers

Raiton: Mom… Dad… No… Raiton starts crying
Raiton’s Mom: Raiton, don’t cry sweetie, stay strong for Kaede, run please get out of here. Live a carefree and happy life like we always have dreamed for you.

Through his sniffling Raiton nods
Kaede’s Mom: That goes for you too Kaede, here I want you to have my necklace.
Kaede’s Mom struggles to remove the necklace with a white orb and red insignia on the inside
Kaede is crying too much to even move and after their mothers both finally pass Raiton leads Kaede out of the Village, where they’d roam until a man finds them

Man: Hello you two, where are you goin?
