On MangaDojo you can add markup, links and even images to comments and all other types of text areas simply by using the following shortcodes:

Characters used:

Double underscore __

Double dash --

Shortcode:

Will be displayed as:

bold

italic

underlined

Square Brackets, equal sign [=]

IMG-Tag and colon img:

You can also create image links by putting the image url inside of the link, like so:

[img:mangadojo.png=http://mangadojo.com]

And if you're wondering about those dashed lines that you see above, you can add them yourself, by typing:
