Aspects of a good Manga » The Gist of Things
So, you wanna make a manga eh?
So, hello there! Welcome to my little tutorial that is shot towards you! You don't need to be an aritist to do manga. Hell, I'm a writer! There are also critics, who help people with their manga skills, and I'm technically stealing their job! (Don't tell em I am. K? ;3 ) So, in this chapter, we will cover the basic of a good manga. Note: These are not offical, these are personal. I am an Avid manga reader and this is what i like. If you have an ideas you want to tell others, feel free to comment, I always come back and check. Sooooooooooo, let's get started eh?
So, the first thing that you wanna get down tight is a story. If your a one man, or woman, group making oyur own manga, you want to thouroghly think this out before actually drawing it out, orelse it'll be a waste of time. OR if you want to make it easier on yourself, hire a writer. Our whole purpose is to make stories and make an artist's life easier. If you plan on being a writer, then you need to be original with your work. Speaking of that, it also applies to drawers, nobody wants to read your bootleg versison of some random manga.
